The Paznaun Valley has been a member of the Genussregion Österreich since 2007. The best-selling product is the Paznauner Almkäse. But there are also regional versions of bacon, sausages, honey and much more for sale. Gourmet chefs spoil you with regional delicacies. Definitely a treat for every palate!

PIUT – Paznaun Ischgl Ultra Trail
In summer 2024, the Silvrettarun 3000 will become the first ultra trail in Paznaun. It will celebrate its premiere with the name PIUT (Paznaun Ischgl Ultra Trail) from 12 to 13 July.
The PIUT leads runners through the Paznaun on four different routes with great views.

The treasure hunt at the family route is really popular among the little hikers and obtaining the silver or bronze medal is the big goal for them. For all hikers, the impressive mountain landscape of Ferwall and Silvretta, the alpine flora and fauna and the common fun of hiking, is the reason to take part at this summer highlight of the Galtür.

The Paznauner market day celebrates the regional treasures of the valley, with a focus on the famous Paznaun Alpine Cheese, made from pure Paznaun milk. Enjoy a wide range of culinary delights as well as traditional and modern craftsmanship from local exhibitors.

E-Bike World Cup for Everyone
“Everyone is a winner – everyone can become e-bike world champion”. Whether you’re a serious cyclist or you ride just for fun, we invite you to participate in the first E-Bike World Cup open to the public—an event for everyone, known in Austria as “Jedermann”.
This event also gives guests and participants the opportunity to try out the latest trends in e-biking and learn more about this fascinating sport.

Transalpine Run – Stage 3 to 5
